The transaction history is a great place to get an idea of what is going on with an application, however, it would be awesome to have a real-time status option for where an Amendment or Response is on the Examiner's docket. Similar to the ability to download documents from the IFW in various formats, include an option to view the status of the Amendment or Response. Status could be as simple as:

Save user defaults - such as default search field

Kudos to the Patent Center team for adding attorney docket number to the drop down as a search option on the home page. This is a welcome change! Thank you. It would be nice, though, if a user could save their default configuration such as their choice for that search field. For instance, if my searches in the home-page search field are almost always attorney-docket-number based, then it would be great if I could save... more »

Search for patent # omits attorney docket

In PAIR, searching for applications by attorney docket number is easy: the docket number search is one of the radio button options on the front page under Search for Application, and when selected, opens up a dialog to allow entering the docket number. Credit card charge records - missing attorney docket number

When we receive records of credit card charges for paying PTO fees in connection with Patent Center filings, the records do not show our attorney docket numbers for the cases at issue. That makes accounting on our end quite difficult, as we need to manually correlate the records with our case numbers. We do not encounter this problem with filings through EFS.
